ChemRef Basic by The PDA Initiative is a chemistry reference tool.

ChemRef Basic has undergone a complete rewrite!!

What does this mean?
· Support for the new Pocket PC's running Pocket PC OS 2003.
· No longer relies on embedded visual basic runtimes.
· All beautiful high resolution 16-bit graphics.
· Almost 5 times faster than the old version.
· Periodic table now highlights active element.

This product now uses the .NET Compact Framework. If you have a Pocket PC 2003 device you are already set to go. If you have a Pocket PC 2000 or 2002 device you will need to install the .NET Compact Framework if you haven't already. This is available as a free addon to the Pocket PC OS and can be downloaded HERE

Features include:

· Periodic table with clickable icons
· 14 types of information on each element
· Advanced molecular calculator that can analyze a formula string to calculate a molecular weight
· A mol - mass converter
· Reference table of common organic classes

Note : The demo version is restricted to information on elements 1 to 36 and the formula calculator is limited to 6 characters of input.
